The Poker Client interacts with the main application server via XML protocol through HTTP/HTTPS and/or sockets including SSL sockets.

The Poker Client consists of two parts:

• Lobby

The Presentation Layer

It is the presentation layer  of the online gaming system that interacts with the user. This is how the buttons click and form submissions are possible. The Business Logic Layer

Data Storage Layer

Since each service in the business logic layer uses a separate database, if the system load is high there is always the possibility of adding one or several database servers and share data among the servers. This provides scalability and ensures that there is no downtime.
With backup procedures in place for DB servers, we ensure that no loss of data at any time. Backup of the main DB and the archives is taken periodically to resume system accessibility in short time due to any unforeseen natural events.
